-----Milky white film on my pacer rims
Q. I have pacer polished rims on my S-10. I used a rim cleaner that said safe on all types of rims. It left a milky looking film on my rims. I have scrubbed and scrubbed but nothing works. Please help me anyone. I don't make a lot of money and can not afford to buy new rims. Any information would be appreciated.
Thanks

A. Without seeing them, it's tough. But *usually* that 'milky film' is because something damaged the surface of the clear coating that is applied to protect the shiny metal underneath. Perhaps that 'safe' product wasn't so safe after all.
Good Luck!

A. Call Pacer and tell them the situation, they should be able to give you advice, after all it is their product.

A. DID YOU TRY USING MORE OF THAT CLEANER TO GET IT OFF? A LOT OF THOSE PRODUCTS TELL You TO TEST A SMALL PORTION OF THE WHEEL FIRST.BUT GOOD LUCK. I WAS ALWAYS TOLD TO USE MORE OF THE CLEANER THAT STAINED. JUST WIPE OFF.
