Electrolytic Baths for restoration of ocean artifacts

I am a scuba diver, I am looking for information on ELECTROLYTIC BATHS (i.e. equip. needed {specific}, solutions for the bath) for preserving artifacts removed from the ocean, I need to stop the corrosion process and remove organic growth. As related to Brass and Steel. Any one with SPECIFIC information please let me know.

Hello! Were you ever able to get an answer? My mother, who lives in the Republic of Panama, recently purchased an old Spanish cannonball, which is "falling apart" as she puts it and wants to know if there is a process to stop the deterioration. Thanks!
