Internal anode for rings

Dear Sir,

I want to hard chrome a ring: Outer diameter 54.0 mm and inside 42 mm, height of the rings is 10 mm. In the inside diameter of the rings is recession 2 mm wide and 1.5 deep. I am using plate type anodes with distance of 100 mm each side. The only problem I am facing is that I am getting an unchromed patch at the top most inside area of the ring. I am using Mach 1 solution from Macdermid at current density 30 dm2. Kindly suggest if I need an internal anode and suggest the most feasible method of using internal anodes.

Dear Sir

1-is the chrome missed all the all around top inside if so how deep the part was in solution, it should be at least 10 cm

2-if the chrome missed an area at the top and all the inside is o.k , May be you'd check your anodes

3-if the inside chrome, all over, is not acceptable you may require inside anode.
