Need stainless vent hood dent and scratch help

A new 36" stainless steel range hood arrived with some minor dents and scratches in all-too-obvious places. No one wants to assume responsibility and we are heartsick. Our friendly auto body shop did more minor damage. EXPERIENCED HELP GRATEFULLY APPRECIATED.

Richard. Did you have any luck fixing the scratches in your hood. One of the trades on one of my jobs scratched a client's hood (fairly minor rub on an edge), and I'd like to know if you had success repairing your hood and what you did that worked or didn't work. Thanks. D. Raven
