"Cadmium plate specification CD 10 FIC"

2004

I am attempting to figure out a call out for cadmium plating. The call out is as follows "CD 10 FIC". Its on a European blueprint for a aircraft fastener. What is it and where can I obtain information over the web regarding it.

Thanks,

Hi Dave,

I had the same problem with the definition, but I have solved it yet.

Cd10 FIC = 10µm Cadmium without finish code
-natural coloring of the chromic finsh-

Please look at the paper of Aerospatiale Aeronautique NSA5414 (Issue J / Date 10.98) Page 4.
