I am doing my Master's in Industrial Engg. At this moment I am working as an intern at a plating company. I would like to perform capability analysis on thickness measured during gold plating process. They use X-ray fluorescence instrument. At the same time I would like to check the repeatability and reproducability. Is it worth doing it or is there anything else which I can do?

One other thing is instrument stability. Keep track of the readings of the standard prior to calibration.

Sorry! Finishing.com is temporarily Read-Only.
Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
