Nickel-chrome plating would be used where you like the look. It is scratch resistant, very corrosion resistant if well done, and easy to maintain. You've probably seen it on bathroom and kitchen faucets, towel racks, and truck bumpers. It is widely applied to ABS plastic as well as to all kinds of metal. I can't quote a specific rate, but it is expensive compared to painting or zinc plating, but less expensive than PVD processes like titanium nitride.

Our Introduction to Chrome Plating may be informative. Good luck!

Mr Ajay Jangid,

I will suggest you connect with a commercial Plating house in Jaipur first, there are many who do Nickel and Chrome plating, and obtain a first hand idea. You could try buying a book on plating from the list on this site.

Nickel and Chromium Plating [on Amazon affil links]by Dennis and Such is one book, but there are many more.
