Condenser tube materials for sea water application

Could somebody let me know the advantages and disadvantages of using Stainless Steel tubes, Cu-Ni (may be also brass) and Titanium tubes in a surface condenser for a steam turbine with sea water cooling. I know Russian and hence, Andrey could reply in Russian as well. The readers may suggest, if they are aware of any new material, which is even better than Titanium (presuming that as on today Titanium tubes are the best choice).

Thanks in advance,

Definitely with Titanium prices sky rocketing, many have found AL294C stainless steel (www.valtimet.com) useful. Though Titanium is definitely the best, AL294C offers a huge price advantage. However CuNi is completely ruled out for sea water as they are quite susceptible to erosion corrosion, sea water has high amount of salts/ sand and hence not recommended at all. These days even for river water, Cu Ni is rarely used. regards,
