Chrome dipping/tools
2004
Hi everyone,
I have some questions about chrome dipping. So let me start. I would like to know where I can get info on all the tools I need and or cert's I need if any . I live in Canada and where I live everyone needs to send their stuff out of town to get anything done. I polish all aluminum parts to a high finish for a lot things but now I've been ask to do chrome dipping so I am looking in to all the tools and problems I might encounter along the way. So if there are any tips or tricks I should be aware of I would like to know ahead of time. I am starting from scratch so I need all the info I can get.
Thank you everyone

Step 1-- start calling it nickel-chrome plating instead of chrome dipping. Step 2--visit a nickel-chrome plating shop and take a look around. Step 3--read some of the books on our
"must have" booklist. Good luck.

For lots of comments, mostly negative, do a search of the letters at this site for chrome plating. There is a large laundry list of the problems.
