Q. For analysis of wastewater MBAS is followed with Sublation as described in
<== 'Standard Methods ...' (20th Edition). Using sublation (used for reducing interferences) I got very high concentration of anionic surfactants in wastewater and in known standards but without sublation it is ok (as checked by known standards). I am little bit confused in using 100 gms of NaCl in sublation because NaCl seems to increase the results. Can any body please give me directions to over come this problem. Is there any problem in sublation .
I will be thankful to you .
