Low friction coating for solder mask

2004

My company produces wirewound components. The soldering of wires on terminals is done by dipping in molten Sn99.3Cu0.7 alloy. Solder baths and masks are made of Titanium (T40) to prevent dissolution by tin (heated up to about 450C). Flux residues and plastic residues (PET, PBT, PPO or PA66 coil formers are slightly dipped in the solder during the soldering process) mixed with SnO dross tend to accumulate on solder masks which then require frequent cleanings (manual scraping).

Do you know a low-friction/high-temperature coating that could help reducing the fouling of our solder masks? What about MoS2 based coatings ? would this kind of material withstand liquid tin at 450C?
