Need to do Invar (Iron, nickel, chrome) alloy plating

We are successfully producing Nickel and Copper micro parts to very close tolerances using selective electroplating techniques. WE HAVE BEEN ASKED TO PRODUCE SOME INTRICATE parts using an Invar or elinvar type alloy. Is anybody out there aware of any usable plating process that would result in 80 micron thick alloy coatings? Any input would be much appreciated .

Thank you!
Manfred

See ASM Handbook volume 5, Surface Engineering, (1994). Nickel alloy plating, including Fe-Ni, is covered on pages 266-269. Invar (36% Ni) isn't mentioned, but soft magnetic alloys of 18-25% Fe can be electroformed into parts. Chromium alloy plating is covered on pages 270-274. See also letter #27762 re Cr-Fe. Four Cr-Fe-Ni plating solutions are listed, but the processes seem rather experimental. Co-deposition of Cr particles during Fe-Ni plating, followed by heat treatment, is also mentioned.
