Electroplating situation in Canada

I'm a chemical engineer in China, I'm working in a electroplating factory in China. I plan to immigrate to Toronto in Canada. I want to know something about electroplating in Canada. Especially, electroplate hard-chromium in Canada. In addition, is it difficult to find job in this field?

My experience has been that experienced hard chrome platers are always greatly in demand in the USA. I would not expect the situation to be different in Canada.
