-----Units of Ductility
2004
Hallo all,
I am a research student in Lancaster University,UK.My research area is Intelligent Control of Mobile Robots. I am going to teach the UG students in Mechanical Engineering Department. The part of this teaching is to the material selector software called as CES Selector.I have encountered the problem about the unit of ductility of any metal. I know that for each metal ductility is considered as a constant and it's a ratio. But I want to know how to calculate the ductility of any metal........
Please help me as soon as possible.
Thanks,
research student and lecturer - Lancaster, Lancasashire, UK

Ductility = 100 x (Lf – Lo)/Lo
Lf= final length
Lo = initial length
