Science project: the ingredients in soap?

How come the internet never gives you more information on soap, like the ingredients? I am a kid working on a science project about liquid detergent but nothing on the internet is giving me good information. Can you help me please.

How come libraries don't sell ski poles, Clyde? The internet was not designed or intended to replace libraries for school science projects. Your librarian can point you to the right book in 30 seconds flat.
