How to avoid swirl marks when polishing chrome bumpers?

I have a question about polishing Large chrome Items? I have a chrome truck bumper that needs polished .. But every time I polish chrome I end up leaving swirl marks that reflect when you get then in the sun. What am I doing wrong?

Try buffing compounds like emery on eBay or Amazon [affil link] , stainless, and then a chrome rouge.

In response to your question. Try cola (soft drink) and a ball of aluminum foil. Pour da pop then rub with da foil. I don't know how it works but it sure does.
