Q. SUGGEST ME AN ORGANIC/INORGANIC SOLVENT FOR STRIPPING EPOXY COATING ON ZIPPER SLIDERS MADE OF ZINC DIE-CAST PREFERABLY BY DIPPING PROCESS ONLY.

A. G'Day,

NMP N-Methyl-2-pyrrolidone, a chemical with a high boiling point that can be used cold, say 25 °C. soak the zippers for about three hours or longer and rinse off in water. You may need to scrub these parts, or high pressure water rinse. Be wary of any other plastics in the zippers construction i.e., test first.
