Need to restore shine to weathered brass door hardware

I refinish Exterior doors for a living and usually restore the brassware (Kickplates and Door hardware). I need a better and faster method that what I am using. The majority of the time the polished brass has oxidized and the sealer (lacquer) has been weathered off of the surface. Liquid products like Brasso take too long. Is there a cleaner, a buffer, a polish available that expedites the work?

A buffing wheel would certainly speed up the process. Although I haven't tried using Brasso [on eBay or Amazon] with a buffing wheel, I don't see why it wouldn't work (might make a splashing mess though since Brasso is pretty soupy).
