GM spec. WPPGLA for Powder Coating

+++

Q. What do the letters WPPGLA 0848 represent in a powder coat requirement by GM? I know the 0848 represents color. I think GLA represents gloss level, but what level?

A. GLA is the gloss level of the A-surface. It has a value of 5 - 7 degrees.

Q. I am looking for the Powder Coating MFG and Code for a 1998 Corvette Pace Car It's Purple with a yellow strip. I do have a wet paint code: waeq 5387- basf/r-m 225678 but this doesn't help me. The rims are Powder Coated a Yellow and Need the Powder coating Code to Match. Can any one help with this?
