What is the exact process of anodizing aluminum?

Yes I Am curious as to what equipment is needed to anodize aluminum? Also would like to know what process there is to it? I have a hobby that I am trying to learn how to anodize my own parts?

Thanks,

Please see our list of "must-have" books, and our tabulation of books available from Amazon, Chad, and buy a couple or go to the library and borrow a couple as a starting point. If your hobby was repairing radios, you wouldn't post a question asking for the exact process of repairing radios, because you'd know that there is too much to it for that to be practical. Although you are unfamiliar with anodizing, there is similarly too much to it to be able to answer your question in any reasonable amount of time and column space.
