Brightener and booster for alkaline zinc plating

Hi!

I am university student. I trying to find alkaline zinc plating brightener and booster's formulation. I need it for my university thesis. I would be grateful if anyone can help me about it. I need to this information very soon. Thank you in advance.

This is a big problem, Natalie. These additives are proprietary trade secrets, and we couldn't print the formulations here if we knew them. It would be like printing the formulation of Coke or Pepsi. If anyone wants to reference a published article though, we'll be happy to print that kind of response.

I would try speaking with someone from one of the UK supply houses such as Atotech (West Bromwich) or Macdermid (Birmingham) although I must agree with Ted that these formulations tend to be highly prized and not disclosed freely although you probably have a genuine reason for enquiring about them.
