Zhan cup vs. EZ Zhan cup
2003
Dear Sir;
To measure the paint viscosity, we use the EZ Zhan cup and some of our customer specifications (Bombardier spec) call for the Zhan cup. Are the EZ Zhan cup and Zhan cup the same?
Thanks for any help,

Having calibrated Zahn Cups (amongst various other types of viscometers) with calibrated Newtonian Fluids, - I'd have to say that generally, there probably ISN'T an accurate correlation between a Zahn Cup and an EZ Zahn Cup. However, in order to acquire an accurate correlation, one could characterize a Zahn Cup against an EZ Zahn Cup, using the same Newtonian Fluid standard with both Cups.
If you need more information on this, I'd suggest you go to the makers of EZ Zahn Cup, Gardco, (www.gardco.com), who could probably lend more insight on this.
Hope this helps.
