-----Space duty requires high conductivity plating for aluminum
I've got an aluminum frame (6061 T6) and wish to prevent oxidation and yet have the best conductive surface possible. We are currently looking at 50-100 microinches gold over 100 microinches of nickel. Anyone know of a better combo. Want to make sure the conductivity is not only good along the surface of the gold but also thru the gold-nickel and nickel-aluminum interfaces. This is for a space flight application. thanks for your time....

Sounds perfect to me. But remember that aluminum must be zincated before plating.
