Acid zinc plating questions

What can cause finished plated work in acidic bath and blue passivation to be yellowish after some time? And what current is enough for 20 litre bath? my work is acidic zinc bath.

Improper rinsing. Current depends on the surface area to be plated, not the size of the tank.

pH control is very important point in chromate bath. Current is controlled by cathode area.
