Powder coating must be to FDA certification

We wish to manufacture die cast product which will be used for food processing.

Specific requirement states the parts to be dust covered in RAL 9006 (aluminum white) and covered with transparent lacquer, appropriate for food processing. The painting must satisfy FDA certification.

However, our local coating and materials suppliers have no experience for FDA certification and / or idea of the compliance.

Please advise where we can find details of FDA standard or certification and / or specific compliance details.

You may also recommend suitable coating products for our application.
