Designer needs better protection on painted die castings

I have a very important problem I am looking to improve. We diecast A380, tumble and machine, them chromate conversion then powder paint. The corrosion properties are not that good as a finished product. I realize chromate conversion does not like the heat we use to powder paint. I am starting from scratch to learn a better method with all options possible from different aluminum to different coatings. This is for a salt water environment for fishing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try anodizing rather than chem film.

A urethane coating can cure by air, or force-dried at lower temperatures than powder. Good luck.
