Can I melt a white gold pendant into a ring?

This isn't really a finishing question. But I was wondering if anyone knows if I can melt down a white gold necklace (and pendant) into a ring? I also would like to put a scribe on it...is this even possible?

Thanks!

With enough experience and enough of the right equipment, sure! But if you are inquiring into the feasibility of a person with no experience doing professional jewelry work in their kitchen, no it doesn't sound doable.

Many junior colleges as well as colleges offer jewelry making. They have the required equipment and can give you the required knowledge to do what you want to do. SAFELY. Typically it is a 1 day a week class. One semester will do it for you.
