-----Blow moulder needs to protect parts from PVC Fumes
Presently plating machined parts with hard chrome for corrosion protection. Nickel plate isn't used because it does not adhere to surface well enough, and allows moisture to penetrate underneath, as well as flaking off under pressure. Hard chrome is not providing enough corrosion protection on parts exposed to high concentrations of Polyvinyl chloride (PVC) fumes. Any suggestions to an affordable alternative?

Electroless nickel works very well in that application.You just need to find a plater that can plate it properly on hardened steel.
