What Is German Surface Protection "DBL"?

I'm working on quoting some German prints and it calls out for a surface protection "DBL". Anyone have any idea what this could be? I'm assuming it is some find of Metal Finish, the material is 12L14.

Is there a four digit number following DBL? If so, then this is likely a DaimlerChrysler (German) specification.
