-----Protecting weather-exposed brass and bronze on battleship
2003
Looking for a brass protective coating that will stand up to the full sun and weather. The USS New Jersey has much brass and bronze, some of which is exposed to the weather. Brush applied or aerosol cans would be best as much of the work can not easily be removed. Also any hints on cleaning after polishing to provide the best surface prep for the product recommended.

Thanks,

[Sorry, URL no longer functions]. I think USA producers also exist but I am not sure. In Europe special ORMOCER lacquers are in experimental phase.
Good luck!

We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
