Cleaning of enamel baths

Q. Hi,

I have recently moved into a lovely new home, the only problem is it has an old enamel bath in it. I don't really want to have to re-paint it and was wondering what the best way of cleaning it up was as I have tried nearly everything on the market and still can't seem to make it look any cleaner; so I would be really grateful for any help that you can give me in regards to this problem.

Thank you,

Q. Has anyone responded to your e-mail as I am in the process of purchasing a house with a beautiful, but very scuffed, enamel bath and I don't want to replace it?

A. Hi there I have just been reading your items regarding cleaning of an enamel bath. May I recommend "T. Cut" as this also removes any scratches from the enamel without actually damaging the enamel in any way.
This was recommended to me by Jacuzzi Technical Service Team so I can honestly say this really works.
Good luck in cleaning your bath,

Q. My friend recently moved into a house with a large old enamel bath.

While the surface of the bath is excellent the colour was stained etc.

In an attempt to clean the bath, she partly filled the bath with cold water to cover the stains and added Domestos Household bleach and left it for quite some time.

Unfortunately it has turned the area covered by the water PINK.

Can anyone offer any help on how to remove the pink from the bath!
