Variation in Gold thickness from HCD to LCD

We manufacture imitation jewelry made of white metal and also brass.Efficiency of gold bath is tallying on brass and on white metal (pre weight and post weight of plating) but correct thickness not reporting in XRF MACHINE.

Even it reads thickness is not uniform throughout the job. Comments and Suggestions is appreciated.
