Material of pump or storage tank

Hello,

I suggest to use sludge pump made of stainless steel for pumping of liquid from storage tank, which is made of mild steel.

Pump will be constantly immersed in liquid. Is there any danger of electrogalvanic corrosion of tank?

I doubt it, but put the pump on a couple of bricks, or otherwise prevent direct contact, and there will be no chance.
