Rotogravure and Flexographic questions

Hi 1 -How we can see and specialize,printing dots before engraving rotogravure cylinder? (something like RIP in imageseter) 2 -Could we use diamond screening(FM) method for making multicolor flexographic plates ? Thank you

Hello! Mr.Shahriar Khosravi ,before engraving rotogravure cylinders ,we first test cut (that is to try engraving on the cylinders in order to see whether the whole cylinder is suitable to engrave ), then we use a cells tester to see whether the dots is good or not.so cells tester is the tool you can use to see the dots . THE answer to the second question is no ,the state-of -art is quite different from the two kinds of printing. If you have other questions about rotogravure cylinder making ,I'd like to give you a hand.
