Salt bath hardening of ROLLS

I am manufacturing rolls out of SAE 52100 material . I am doing salt bath hardening process and achieving 8 mm of depth. I want to know by what process I can increase depth of hardness? Is the sub zero treatment useful for us to improve roll quality?

Sub-zero treatment might be a good idea. It will give you some extra hardness but not an increase in case depth. Its function is to reduce residual austenite and the possibility of cracks. I understand that leading roll manufacturers attain more depth by a method that relies in the core cold mass to help the cooling process from inside by a very fast deep heating w/induction equipment.
