Soldering pure nickel wire

Does anyone know how to solder NICKEL ALLOY 201 WIRE (High purity Nickel constantan), on 1 once copper finished, gold plated pads?
(Maximum soldering temperature 371 °C , Medium density circuit board)
1. What type of flux should I use? (Should be non corrosive)
2. What is the best method to clean and tin this type of wire?

(Appears to have excessive nickel oxide on the surface.)

I have never come across this exact problem. See if this helps, try clean the nickel wire in a 10% HCl solution to remove the excess oxidation. The flux you need will have to be highly activate or even an acid flux.

Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
