Information sought on 1970s Udylite fume scrubber

I am looking for anyone that has information on some plating equipment from the 70s. Specifically, does anyone have information on a model 30 or model 60 Udylite scrubber?

Hi Frank,
I remember the name Udylite but can't recall anything in particular ... many/most scrubbers in that era were mass transfer mainly using 'packing' from two or three suppliers, for horizontal flow.

You could have been more specific ... ie. giving data on packing height, scrubber dia., etc.etc.etc. I'd guess that your '30 or 60' referred to the airflow, certainly I used that designation for, say, 3,000 or 6,000 cfm.

You could work backwards! If you knew the type of packing etc., (Norton, Tripack etc) that was used, scrubber dia. and packing SIZE ... the packing house supplier could give you a pretty good idea of the scrubber potential.

But whether these days it would EPA specs for, say, hard chrome is highly doubtful. I'm sorry I can't be more helpful.

Frank,

I am also looking for information on the Udylite Fan Fume Scrubbers Models 30 & 60. Have you had any luck?

Hi, Dave. Please try to contact the used equipment dealers. They doubtless have all sorts of old equipment running through their inventory all the time and probably acquire operating instructions and parts manuals. Good luck.
