How to restore faded plastic bathtub

I have a plastic bath that is faded. Is there anything I can use on it to restore it to the original colour again.

Hi, Kevin. Ever notice how beach glass and peddles can be smooth and reflective while wet, but 'frosted' when they dry? It's because the water fills in the tiny pits and generates a smooth surface on it. No promises, but "clear coats" can often restore a faded finish when it's caused by the same kind of microscopic roughness.

Wet the plastic bath and see if you like the look while wet . . . if you do, a clearcoat may fix it; if not you need to get the tub refinished. Good luck.
