Dear Sir /Madam,
I am a jeweler having a small metal cutting and polishing unit. I want to know about rhodium plating on gold to make it bright silvery in appearance.
I propose to start a jewelry-plating (especially Rhodium) unit in my workshop as per the current market demand.

I should be grateful if you please tell me the complete know how of the processes involved and the equipments and chemicals required for this.

Thanks and Best Regards.

Hello Pintoo,

If you are looking for pen plating unit then you can find in a jewellery tools & machinery shop. And if you want to find bath plating then you will need to search in finishing.com for a reputable supplier like Gold Touch [a finishing.com supporting advertiser]

Hi, Pintoo. Please note that you should not rhodium plate regular yellow gold because the life of the jewelry will be too short (the contrast between the rhodium color and the yellow gold color will be too great, so replating will be required as soon as the rhodium plating gets a little thin in one spot. Only white gold should be rhodium plated because the contrast is not so strong. Good luck.
