Looking for sealant protection for copper counters

2003

We recently built a new home and I had a local person fabricate copper counters for me, which I absolutely love. However, the constant upkeep is causing me to reconsider the decision. Is there a sealant or finish that I can use to eliminate the need for constant polishing?

Incralac will do the job. Good Luck

Gretchen,
A high quality lacquer will do the job. Minwax makes a good brushable lacquer that does not leave brush strokes. You should be able to find that in any home improvement center. Make sure you purchase a good brush to use.
