Glue for pp

We are a company mfg transparent Packaging in INDIA, and have a requirement of PP Solvent Glue / Solvent cement / chemical... etc, can you recommend the Adhesive for bonding PP to PP.

Hi Samir,

I hate to tell you but I think that you are backing a dead horse ... there's no known true cement for PP or for Pe.

You will sometimes see labels on PP or Pe bottles ... where, perhaps, some sort of adhesive is used but there's nothing that will work on 'bonding' PP or Pe to themselves.

There is an expensive process for just painting it. Have a look on the archives at letter 18442.

True PP or Pe needs to be hand or fusion welded. Sorry.

Dear Freeman
Now the companies in China claims that they have glue for bonding pp together, there are many companies which offer pp boxes bonded with glue instead of ultrasonic or heat welding.

Any finding?
