Hi,
First of all ceramic kettle is meant for long life in the galvanizing process. It is not only related with temperature, zinc in the galvanizing process usually corrodes the metal surface-- when zinc temperature raises beyond 500 C, its rate of corrosion becomes much faster and damages the metal kettle by eating up the kettle wall. In any case metal kettle is always less costly and made of low carbon , low silicon, low manganese content steel. There are a lot of renowned manufacturers.
Hope this will be some sort of guidance for you regards--
