-----Coating stainless steel with molybdenum
Can anybody tell me how to coat a stainless steel cone with molybdenum? I need a quick, cheap method (I'm a PhD student and have no money!) that will coat the cone in a thin layer of molybdenum.
Cheers!

Try sputtering or PVD. Molybdenum cannot be electrochemically deposited from an aqueous electrolyte.
