BURNING IN HIGH CD ON LOW JUICE





Help required on dull cad solution. We run a dull cad @ 15g/l Cd metal, 7g/l NaOH & 60g/l NaCN the carbonate is about 50 g/l.We have problems with high cd burning plating at very low juice Helpppp!

NaOH should be approx. 110 g/l. It can make the whole difference!

Your concentrations sound on the low end, but acceptable. Have you run some Hull Cell ⇦ huh? panels? This would not only quantify your concept of "low juice" and put some real numbers on it, but would also eliminate several possible trouble spots like defective rectifiers.
