BURNING IN HIGH CD ON LOW JUICE





Help required on dull cad solution. We run a dull cad @ 15g/l Cd metal, 7g/l NaOH & 60g/l NaCN the carbonate is about 50 g/l.We have problems with high cd burning plating at very low juice Helpppp!

NaOH should be approx. 110 g/l. It can make the whole difference!

Your concentrations sound on the low end, but acceptable. Have you run some hull cell panels? This would not only quantify your concept of "low juice" and put some real numbers on it, but would also eliminate several possible trouble spots like defective rectifiers.
