-----Tin Plate
Q. Where does Tin Plate/sheet metal come from? and Who are the manufactures?
Thank You,
- Sydney
2003
Tinplate is made by electroplating steel with tin and quickly melting it followed by rapidly quenching it is an oil. Another, older, way of making it is to dip the steel sheet into a bath of molten tin (tin melts at only 232C). It is made by most iron and steel companies.

Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
