Q. I'm a high school student currently studying about shipwrecks. I have given an assignment on shipwreck.
Q) Compare conservation and restoration techniques applied in two Australian maritime archaeological projects?
Well as far as I know, none of the internet sites or books deal with it. Can you please tell me about any conservation and restoration techniques that were used in Australian maritime archaeological projects?

A. 1. Go to the library and find college catalogues on every Australian University.
2. Find which of them have a marine archeology department or offer courses on similar subjects.
3. Send a very nice letter to each asking where you might be able to find books or papers on the specific subject.
Unless you have a "I need it yesterday" time frame, I will bet that at least one will respond.

Though these are all on the pandora + xantho wrecks there's not much other info you'd need unless you go for specific electrochem equations, etc.

Unfortunately, very few websites (finishing.com excluded) seem to exhibit any responsibility towards preserving access to knowledge for even a single generation :-(
Fortunately, a major exception is the Wayback Engine at archive.org. There is an excellent chance that a copy of any file you are looking for can be retrieved by starting at https://web.archive.org :-)
Q. I'm doing a shipwrecks and salvage assessment on the chemical processes used to restore ships, etc. Can anyone give me a list of techniques to look up, or any useful websites?
