Seeking effluent treatment technology for alkaline rust stripper containing sodium gluconate, Na-EDTA. and propylene glycol methyl ether




Seeking effluent treatment methods for treating :

1) Alkaline antirust wastewater containing sodium gluconate, tetrasodium EDTA, NaOH, Na2CO3 for ferrous materials cleaning.
2) Alkaline waste cleaning solution containing sodium metasilicate, polypropylene glycol methyl ether for aluminium and magnesium materials.

A common treatment is low-pH saturation with a light metal. Drop the pH to about 2.0, load up the solution with calcium chloride or magnesium sulphate, then raise the pH to precipitate the heavy metals.
