-----Bubbling in Zinc Plated Parts
What causes zinc plating to bubble? We're having problems with the zinc plating bubbling on the ends of a 6 ft. roll formed rail. It appears they are fine when received from the platers, then after a short time the bubbles appear. Is this possible or are we missing it during the receiving inspection? And what causes that condition?
Thanks in advanced for your comments.

You're probably not missing it, it's probably 'delayed blistering'. It is the plater's job to deliver perfect adhesion and to solve this problem.
