Chrome poisoning symptoms

Hi,

I am a welder/fitter for a British company. We are tested for chrome poisoning once every three months and put off work if our levels of chrome are above a certain amount. I was wondering what are the symptoms of chrome poisoning? Are the any danger signs to look out for?
