Plate nickel into porous Si

I am trying to plate nickel into porous Si which is 250um deep. How can I check whether plating solution indeed reach the bottom of pores?

I don't think that's quite the correct question, Randy. I think the correct question is whether metallic nickel was deposited there. Depending on the details of the pores, I think x-ray fluorescence can probably by focused below the surface.
